Open for anyone to join in on BIC: It was Tuesday and I actually had the whole day off, so that of course meant that I slept in. I hadn't even woken up when Pony and Darry were getting ready to leave for work and school; it was a known fact that I could sleep through almost anything. When I was little, dad would joke that I'd easily sleep through the tornado sirens. I probably would, too; not much ever came of them. They were a nuisance more than anything most times, so why waste valuable sleep? It was going on eleven when I finally rolled out of bed, making my way out to the living room and thinking of chocolate cake. I was hoping there was still some left.

I was sitting at my best friend Darry's house. I was sitting on the couch waiting for Soda to wake up to hangout.

I headed to the kitchen, grinning in victory when I found the last piece of cake waiting for me. I grabbed that and a glass of chocolate milk and went to kick back on the sofa, in front of the TV. That was pretty much the extent of my plans for the day.
"Oh, hey Kristen," I greeted, when I went into the living room and finally realized she was there.

"Hey Soda." I smiled. "You sure slept in and any longer I was gonna steal that piece of cake." I smirked at Soda watching him sit down on the couch with his food.

"You better not have, it's the last one," I grinned, digging in. Darry had made it; there wasn't enough sugar in the frosting. The gang always said I added too much, but I thought I added just enough. Cake was cake though; I wasn't gonna complain. I put my feet up on the coffee table, next to my drink.
"So what's up?"

I laughed. "I kinda did lick the frosting on that piece you're eating." I said with a giggle. "Nothing's up. just got the day off so thought I'd come hangout here and see what you guys are doing today." Watching to see if soda was gonna bump his drink off the coffee table.

"You know I'll eat it anyway," I grinned. I was already half-finished.
"I really don't know what everyone's up to later," I said. "I've got the day off too, so I guess we'll figure out something once they all get home."

"Yeah I guess so. But what do you wanna do before they get back." I asked still watching if Soda's foot is going to hit his drink and have it fall over.

"I dunno, I guess I'm up for anything," I shrugged. Getting up was all I'd had planned. To be honest, I'd be perfectly happy if I didn't move from the couch all day.

" I don't know what to do. I'm just gonna be lazy today. How's that for you?" I asked tired from working all last week and this last weekend.

"Sounds perfect," I said, moving my foot a little away from my milk as I noticed I'd been close to knocking it over. That happened a lot; which is why Darry was always telling me to get my feet off the table.

"Alright we will just sit here then." I said happily. "Why did you have to move you're foot I was waiting for you to knock your milk over." I said with a laugh.

"Well, I wasn't gonna clean it up if I did," I laughed. The only time I didn't complain none about cleaning was when the social workers were due for a visit. We usually kept the house in pretty good shape, but there was always stuff to do before they came.

I laughed. "You would of cleaned it up. Otherwise I'd tell Darry on you." I threatened Soda.

"I didn't spill it, so there ain't no problem," I grinned finishing my piece of cake. I got up and put the plate in the sink; I'd wash it later. I went back to my seat on the couch.
